För snart en vecka sedan [n=21394 rapporterade] vi om att #Ubisoft-titlar gjorts gratis tillgängliga genom reklamfinansiering. Vid lanseringen framgick det dock inte att det var ett tidsbegränsat erbjudande, det går inte längre att aktivera spelen vid installationen. De som försöker möts av detta meddelande:

På Fileplanet står det dock att de hoppas kunna öppna aktiveringen igen när de kan blockera icke-amerikanska IP-adresser, vilket kan tyda på att det stora intresset från andra länder än USA kan ligga bakom avstängningen. All downloaded files which have not been activated are going to be made inactive through the ubi.com login. Previously, the ubi.com login would require a US country in order to install the game. Ubisoft will make the ubi.com login reject all entries into country. They hope to relaunch the program once we can add IP-blocking into our login process.
