Nästa veckas uppdatering av #Team Fortress 2 kommer innehålla flera nya kartor. Vad #Valve däremot inte bestämt sig för är kostnaden för det nedladdningsbara materialet till konsol-versionerna av spelet. Dock siktar företaget mot en så låg kostnad som möjligt då PC-uppdateringen kommer bli helt gratis. Problemet är enligt uppgift att Valve inte har full kontroll över prissättningarna på Playstation Network respektive Xbox Live. Doug Lombardi, Valves vice chef på marknadsavdelningen, påstår följande i en intervju:
