Förutom nyheten om att Switch fortsätter vara formstark – 22,8 miljoner sålda ex, nu större än Gamecube – släpper Nintendo en översatt Q&A från sin kvartalsrapport. Nintendo-vd:n Shuntaro Furukawa slår i den fast att man fortsättningsvis kommer stötta upp sina stortitlar, som Mario och Zelda, med mer DLC då de är systemsäljare och genom den här strategin lever längre.

Furukawa lyfter fram spel som Super Mario Odyssey, Zelda: Breath of the Wild och Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Just Zelda har som bekant fått två expansioner. Efter releasen i mars 2017 släpptes The Master Trials i juni samma år, och The Champions' Ballad i december. Så tänket är inte helt nytt för Nintendo (Mario Kart 8 fick två expansioner till Wii U) men nu sätter man det alltså i system.
