Diablo III, 28-29Juni

Den efterlängtade hack 'n slash uppföljaren är snart annonserad. Här kommer en liten tidslinje över de rykten, uttalanden, intervjuer etc som tydligt visar på att WWI 2008 28-29 Juni är platsen och tidpunkten då Diablo III kommer annonseras av #Blizzard.

28 JUNI, 2000

#Diablo II: Lord of Destruction expansionen släpps. Notera återigen datumet.

2003-2005
#Blizzard Norths 4 huvudutvecklare avgår och tillslut stänger man ner hela #Blizzard North. För er som inte vet vad #Blizzard North är så kan jag berätta att det var ett dotterbolag ägt av #Blizzard som utvecklade Diablo spelserien. Men #Blizzard går ut med en press release där de bla säger:

Blizzard does not believe that these resignations will cause any significant delays or have long-term negative effects on the "Diablo®" series or other projects in development.

Kompositören av musiken till #Diablo II konfirmerade att han spelat in musik till Diablo III.

Richard A. Knaak som är författaren av många blizzard böcker säger i en online-intervju att han inte skriver för ett "dött spel".

[23:29:19] <Knaak> Question from Medievaldragon: How much of the book is creation of yours, and how involved is Chris Metzen behind the canon storyline of Diablo: The Sin War Trilogy? Do you think the ramifications of this book impact in the storyline of Diablo 3 the game?
[23:29:19] <Knaak> Answer for Medievaldragon: This is a pure collaboration between myself and Chris/Blizzard. All that is written is passed by him and the others there. This will be canon and has adjusted earlier info. The ramifications here will be used for any future project...and I ain't writing for a dead game.

Frank Pearce, Senior vice president av product utveckling säger in en intervju att "Team 3 is working on something really awesome. I can't give you any hints, but it's totally awesome."

Blizzard tar över diablo3.com domänen och fansiten som tidigare låg där tidigare flyttar till www.diablofans.com

I väntan på WWI så är många diablo fans väldigt spekulerande och analyserar allting som kan tyda på att diablo III kommer annonseras. PCgamer(Ej den svenska utgåvan)skrev att det skulle visa något exklusivt i sitt nästa nummer och att det hade varit tvungen att gå till "CENSORED" och tillbaka för att få det, vilket fick många att tro att det var Diablo III. Men detta visade sig dock vara #Crysis:Warhead.

Här hände det grejer! Xfire postade av misstag att det skulle annonseras ett spel på WWI. Det blev rätt snabbt ändrat men det fanns som tur var screenshots.
