Serious Sam 2 - SS1 (mod) Remake?

Seriously would like to present some tantalizing screenshots for a new un-named Serious Sam 2 project. The monsters we certainly recognize, despite their beefed up appearance, but what do they plan on doing with them? The possibilities are endless and we look forward to seeing more!

The developer has not been named yet so check back with us for the latest news. We are very excited to see something like this being done for this game! Will this be the next real mod or total conversion for Serious Sam 2? How do the monsters from the original game fit in? And is that Egypt I see?
