Har läst lite i en tidning som heter Study in the USA eftersom det är vad jag hoppas göra höstterminen nästa år. Bortsett från att tidningen är fylld med propagandaliknande reklam för olika universitet så la jag ganska snabbt märke till en del roliga/märkliga formuleringar som jag tänkte dela med mig av:
Only by living in the U.S.A. can you truly become fluent in English.
Ja, för det finns ju inga andra länder där de pratar engelska som modersmål. Eller vänta...
The images from films and televison programs are not always true. That is, Americans come in a variety of sizes, colors and shapes.
Fan vad sjukt! Här i Sverige har vi ju liksom bara vita lönnfetton och absolut inget annat.
