#Electronic Arts var länge hemlighetsfulla om den tredje rasen i det snart butiksaktuella #Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars men nu har locket tagits av, ordentligt. IGN har publicerat en fyrasidig artikel där [[Scrin]] dissikeras, bland annat med hjälp av storymakaren Jason Bender och designkillen Matt Bitton.
The Tiberium Wars have been intertwined with the fate of the alien race known as Scrin from the moment they began. Little is known about the Scrin, but their invasion of Earth offers some clues to their origin. They are obsessed with Tiberium, an attribute which no doubt brought them here in the first place, and will stop at nothing to harvest every last crystal. Their initial invasion force seems to be geared towards constructing large, mysterious towers rather than destroying the population of whatever unfortunate planet happens to present the next target. Fortunately this allowed GDI to mount an effective defense after an initial assault of staggering magnitude. Kane, on the other hand, seems to have known something about them for some time. Time will tell what truly drives the Scrin, but for now humanity must contend with their vicious, self-constructing force of metallic machinations.
