Teckningar som kan tyda på att Nintendos nya konsol Nintendo Switch får ett VR-headset har läckt på forumet NeoGAF av användaren Rösti. I texten refereras figuren som ett "HMD" (head mounted display) med en bild som tydligt visar ett headset med två 3D-linser, ett huvudbälte och ett utrymme för att stoppa in en skärm.

Ytterligare beskrivs det också att användaren kan utnyttja de två medföljande kontrollerna medan headsetet används. Däremot framgår det inte om kontrollerna skulle ha rörelsesensorer, vilket eventuellt kan tyda på att de finns i själva headsetet.

Med den informationen tillgänglig skulle produkten kunna liknas med Googles Daydream eller Samsung Gear VR.

Patentet skickades in så sent som i juni, något som kan betyda att produkten redan håller på utvecklas. Huruvida det visar sig vara sant eller inte är fortfarande ovisst eftersom chansen finns att Nintendo vill vara på säkra sidan så ingen norpar deras idé. Och därför väljer att ha med patentet ändå.
