Nytt Bayonetta 3 på ingång 2022

En trevlig trivia passande till releasen av Diablo 2: Resurrected från Ian Bates(även känd som TheRedShirtGuy) med Diablo-spel som (tyvärr?)lades ner:

1.
Diablo Jr.: A "pokemon style" game for the gameboy and gameboy color. Would have targeted a younger audience and even have split versions for trading like pokemon. Was canceled because Blizzard's execs felt they were a PC only company and shouldn't make games for other platforms.

2.
Diablo II: Salvation: A second expansion pack for Diablo II. Canceled because they felt it made more sense to just get to work on Diablo III right away.

3.
Diablo III (Blizzard North Version): Began development immediately after Salvation was canceled. The game was set in Heaven with the plot focused on stopping a demonic invasion. Basically Act IV of the final Diablo III stretched into a whole game.
It was canceled because it just felt like an extra big expansion pack for Diablo II, rather than a true next step for the series.

4.
Diablo III: The King in the North: A second expansion for Diablo III. Was canceled in favor of going straight to work on Diablo IV. The content that was finished for it became the free content updates for Diablo III after Reaper of Souls launched.

5.
Diablo IV (Project Hades): The first iteration of Diablo IV. It was a drastic reimagining of the series. It was a third person, over the shoulder hack and slash game with combat inspired by Dark Souls.
By the time it was canceled, it had become so different from past Diablo games they didn't think it could even be called Diablo IV anymore. This led to them starting from scratch on a more faithful sequel, the current Diablo IV.

Sony köper (indirekt?) spelstudion Fabrik Games.

Sony har förvärvat Bluepoint Games. I videon nämner Bluepoint att dom inte har något nytt att annonsera för tillfället, men nämner "we hope to have more to share in the months ahead".

Inget man blir jätteförvånad över direkt kanske, men det verkar ju vara en riktigt skicklig och kunnig studio. Förvisso kända för sina remasters/remakes, men kanske får dom chansen att göra ett eget spel i framtiden.

Det verkar inte gå så bra för Twitch just nu. Hela sidan verkar ha blivit hackad/läckt inklusive hela källkoden och användarinformation. I en del av läckan hittades även information om en konkurrent till Steam som Amazon(Twitch?) har under utveckling som internt kallas "Vapor".
