Questions about Sweden universities
Hi, I wish to hear your opinion and thoughts about Swedish universities.
I have one year left to finish my current university. I want to go a Swedish university for second BS/BSc degree and also master/doctorate for further education.
But I don't know ratings and status of universities in Sweden.
Is there any university for BS degree game programming and any university well known about artificial intelligence studies to master/doctorate?
I want to go to a place that is calm/non-crowded and full of green. But I think everywhere in Sweden is like that
Checkout the Gotland University (www.hgo.se), sweden at its best naturewise. They have a game development education, cant tell you much about it though...

Remember tho that a degree from a Swedish university is not seen as something fancy internationally.

say what? both stockholm and uppsala occur frequently on "top 50/100 universities of the world" lists. KTH and Stockholm School of Economics are among the most highly ranked universities of their respective fields. london based banks fly over large numbers of graduates from SSE every ear for job interviews. stockholm universitys law school is or has been on the top five list in europe, together with oxford and cambridge.
För de ord, som till andra man har sagt, ofta man bitter får böta.
Probably I will do no summer holiday this year too, to finish my university early.
Lulea and Blekinge seems promising for Artificial Intelligence. I couldn't see a Game Programming BS program, but there is a Game Artificial Intelligence master course in Blekinge and Computer Game AI course in Lulea.
I like cold and mountains, but don't like port cities much. Karlskrona looks like a Southern port city. Lulea seems a better option, because it is in north. I like cold
My current university CGPA is 2.5. I will make it 3.00 this semester. Does CGPA is important for Swedish Universities? Is it good to have a CGPA more than 3.5?

I had a teacher that used to study at playgroundsquad. Although I can't give you anything "indepth" my impression from him was that it were a pretty good school. He had former class mates that went on and worked for professional game studios. So I guess the education must atleast have been pretty decent.

People here seems to have forgotten about "Skövde Högskola" that is one of the universitys with the most experience of teaching the arts of anything related to "gaming".

Worth a look.
I'd guess that your best bet is to to get a "real" education (bsc or msc) in the field that you'd like to work with in the gaming industry from one of the five good tech. universities that we got here and head from there.
A tips: ask at Flashbacks education forum as well. You'll probably get more/better answers there.
