Jo, har själv funderat på Googles egna pixel. Dels för att de borde få snabbare uppdateringar, och nyare versioner under längre tid, men även för att slippa allt "extra" som andra tillverkare bloatar ner systemet med.

Verkar dock som Pixel 5 tyvärr inte säljs i Sverige av Google (av någon otroligt dum och outgrundlig anledning).

Ja, pixel telefonerna har aldrig sålts officiellt i Sverige, brukar dock finnas importerade att få tag på på bland annat Inet och CDON.

Hittar dom inte en lösning blir det nog en Android telefon nästa gång. Förstår i och för sig att Apple vill ha betalt. Men att helt blocka tjänster känns kontraproduktivt.

Det där håller jag inte med om, det har funnits öppet för Spotify i över 1 år att ha låtar offline på Apple Watch, det finns flera pod-appar som har detta redan. Det var en enskild utvecklare som lyckades få in Spotify-musik offline i Apple Watch men detta genom att bryta lite regler, han blev senare anställd på Spotify men sen har man inte hört något mer.

Less than an hour after the end of Apple’s big Watch event today, Spotify sent out a statement reiterating its distrust and disappointment in Apple, again accusing the company of anticompetitive practices. Here’s the full message from Spotify:

"Once again, Apple is using its dominant position and unfair practices to disadvantage competitors and deprive consumers by favoring its own services. We call on competition authorities to act urgently to restrict Apple's anti-competitive behavior, which if left unchecked, will cause irreparable harm to the developer community and threaten our collective freedoms to listen, learn, create, and connect."

Spotify pointed out Apple rejected two Apple Watch app submissions back in 2015 and 2016 as an anti-competitive practice. As a result, Spotify still does not offer an Apple Watch app even with Apple adding a third-party API for music.

But Ek also said that if Spotify avoids in-app purchases “Apple then applies a series of technical and experience-limiting restrictions on Spotify. For example, they limit our communication with our customers—including our outreach beyond the app. In some cases, we aren’t even allowed to send emails to our customers who use Apple. Apple also routinely blocks our experience-enhancing upgrades. Over time, this has included locking Spotify and other competitors out of Apple services such as Siri, HomePod, and Apple Watch.”
