Efter en lång tids tystnat har #Infinity Ward börjat tala om framtiden efter monstersuccén #Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. De har gjort det på sin egna blog och även om de inte avslöjar några detaljer om ett framtida spel så tycks det kunna bli något helt nytt och inte ett nytt Call of Duty. Enligt inlägget har de nämligen ett nytt avtal som ger dem medel att starta nya projekt och möjligheten att utveckla en ny IP som de har total kontroll över.
The recently renegotiated deal may not seem like much of an impact from the outside perspective, but it has laid the ground work and kick started our future project, as well as the possibility of a unique new IP by Infinity Ward, that we'll have complete control over. We're excited to be working on our next project, but it's going to be quite a while before I can share any details on exactly what that project is.
