Last month we reported that Arlanda High School in Sigtuna is planning to launch an e-sport program for the fall semester. The program will start modestly with 5-7 students per year, but the goal is for this to be extended to 25-30 students.

Now a second high school follows in something that can be only be described as the beggning of a trend. Aleholmsskolan in Sävsjö is trying to recruit students by launching the course E-sports, starting this fall. According to a press release, students will receive a "professional e-sports training that can be combined with the all the seven programs available at the school. Students receive basic eligibility while immersing themselves in and practising e-sports at school."
