Som över en natt har #Media Molecule blivit en av de klarast lysande stjärnorna på spelhimlen och det tack vare ett litet spel som heter #Little Big Planet. Nu är de inte rena nykomlingar då de tidigare utvecklat #Rag Doll Kung Fu, men tack vare samarbetet med Sony har de tagit ett nytt steg. Efter att deras nya Playstation 3-titel visades upp på GDC höll de en presskonferens där de bland annat berättade om hur samarbetet med Sony tog fart:
So we showed it to Sony, and they were amazing. This is honestly not bootlicking. We pitched, they were like, 'Yeah, we love it,' and all of the stuff in the briefing where we thought they'd say can you tone it down... The said, 'We love it, but can we have more of the mad stuff?
De fick även den allt mer populära frågan om huvurida deras spel är tänkt för barn:
It's not just a kids' game - we're not announcing anything about that, but user created content is all about breadth of content, breadth of ideas. So I'm looking forward to seeing that.
