Gamasutra fick en pratstund med den numera frilansande legenden, som berättar att han inte ger mycket för storyn i nutida spel.

It seems like most games that claim to have story really have scenarios. It's the scenario of, you know ?aliens try to take over the world and you have to shoot everybody to win.? That's not a story, that's a scenario. Most games are just scenarios. They have opening cut scenes which kind of set everything up and maybe there's some kind of intermittent cut scenes that happen in the middle, but real interactive storytelling is more about the flow.
